While in Edinburgh: Day Trip Suggestion to the City of Literature

After I spent some days observing the beauties of the pier city Liverpool, I took another train and ventured to the northern side of the Great Britain; or as known as Scotland. Taking a short trip to Scotland back then might be a little bit risky due to lack of planning and I was being unsure that we can make it there in a shorter time, but boy, I really was wrong.

I was quite surprised that Edinburgh has a lot to offer me as a nerdy, book-binger, Harry Potter freak. It now all made sense to know that Edinburgh is known as one of eleven UNESCO's cities of literature (in which all them are going directly into my bucket list :}). You should probably put Edinburgh as the city you should really visit on your first trip to the UK. Or maybe spend up to a week just for Scotland.

Read Books and Be #auuwsome: A Review on Big Bad Wolf Sale Jakarta 2017

I believe that access to books must be as easy as possible. Buying good books can be a challenge for people living in the third world country, including Indonesia. Most of the people might say that books are too expensive, or not really well distributed. Nevertheless, The Big Bad Wolf Sale Jakarta proves its worth as an oasis in the midst of our confusion for an access to worthy books.

I am so lucky to got a chance to visit the preview sale of Big Bad Wolf Sale yesterday as a blogger representation, so I can share my experience there in this space of mine. I was accompanied by several friends (because a ticket can be used for up to 2 people!) that happened to be book lovers squad. If you miss the preview sale, you can always sign up as a member of Big Bad Wolf so you can get a one VIP pass for the next year sale. Anyway, this year's sale is much bigger than last year, and there are extensive variants of new books for you to discover!

Another Journaling Business. This Time It's Moleskine

Happy 1st of August! For keeping my blog updated (I almost have a thought to abandon this blog for sure), I decided to upload some bits of my Moleskine journal. Enjoy!

I'm currently on my stressful week before the final week next week. I've got loads of things to do and I shouldn't be here supposedly. But yeah, I'm too unpredictable. See you when I see you, folks!

Summer Break

Long time no blogging! I have so much fun with my summer break, preparing for the university life. University seems to be so much fun, but scary (for me) at the same time. I can do a lot of things that I love, join some campus activities, and oh, say hello to an independent life a.k.a freedom to drive and go anywhere (unless your parents knew, hehe). So, what's up? I present to you, things that I've done in summer break. Enjoy.

Philo-Sophie

I'm in love. Yes, I am. With this new reading that I just started a few days ago. Introducing Dunia Sophie, as known as Sophie's World or Sophie Verden in the original version. I knew this book from my English classmate, Bagas (click here for his blog. P.S: His English are hellish. Make sure to bring a dictionary while reading his blog.) when he present it in front of the class. I was not-giving-a-f-ish while listening to him, until he said that this novel is talking about the A to Z of philosophy. Honestly, I'm trying to understand this subject in many kind of media, but I just can't. (maybe my brain is just rejecting it. Duh, understanding it is a hard work.)

It was long ago before I have a much time to read some nice novels. And Thank God, it's long holiday already (before some graduation rehearsals) and I decided to have one in a local bookstore. Initially, I would like to buy the English version, but since it was 800-ish pages (or less in the original version), it must be costing so much money. Duh. Anyway, I still got the book, tho.
